Lalle Larssons Electric Trio

 

*A very nice initiative, a progfestival in Helsingborg! First Peter Wildoer held a drum clinic and then Dan Bornemark talked about his work with Gentle Giant and their archive releases. Very informative and during his designated 45 minutes he played some really cool stuff from his collection. Jonas Jonassons Huvudwerk played their first gig ever, it was a great performance and I hope to see them again sometime soon. Vocalist Engla (his daughter, no less) sang like an angel. Vulkan were ok, especially the first 25 minutes or so. After a while their music became a blur to me, it seemed like I heard the same song over and over again. Soniq Circus payed a kind of homage to some of my fav bands, it was very apparent that they have listened a LOT to the likes of Dream Theater. And lastly, Lalle Larssons trio – god what a band. To be able to hear real70s fusion at a venue in Helsingborg, I never thought I weould see the day. Awesome band. I left afterwards and missed headliners A.C.T.
